PROMOTING STEEMIT AT BUZZ TEENS AWARDS

Buzz Teeniez Awards is an annual award ceremony in Kampala, Uganda that was started in 2007 by a youth magazine called Buzz. The Buzz Teeniez Awards are catered to teen viewers to honour the biggest achievers in television, music, gospel, Dee Jays, movies, Sports, Radio and more.

During the weekend I organised with @yohan2on to go to the show and tell the teens, the teen artists, and also the teen deejays about steemit. we realised these young souls have so many talents and a lot of great ideas that they can bring to this platform. Most of the teens are high school students and also university students where currently they are having their holidays so these holidays will be great for them to start blogging.
One of the observations I made is most of these children are lacking like parents cannot provide 100% of there needs , if they pay their tuition then that's all but we have all been there and we know the hustles sometimes you want a laptop for yourself but the parents say no and sometimes they take a step and tell you how laptops will spoil you, yet you feel it is a great step for you but What option do you have ? other than chill that also explains why teenage mothers are increasing at high rates in Africa because the parents cannot afford to pay all the expenses of the girl child and this girl child looks for other options.I strongly believe steemit will be a great way to eliminate the higher rates of teenage pregnancy since I steem like this can buy lipstick, foundation and some jellewery so really it will bring a balance to their lives, Most girls date sugar daddies to fulfill their personal needs but hey steemit is solving the issues of cross generational sex that is failing children's future .

Am filled with excitement because at first, I thought it won't work out but hey the teens loved the idea the children were receptive to steemit some went ahead and took pictures with us and others asked for our personal numbers so they can call just in case they need help.

we also made 100 fliers that were not coloured and we issued them to the people at the show, and also at the streets that were leading to the show

#promo-steem we are bringing more people to the platform steemit is taking a lead in Uganda and of a recent my sister at the university told me she found steemit fliers at their university so I believe if she got them then other students did ... I cannot thank enough the steemit uganda community for the good Job it is doing . We are able to do this beccause we are backed up by @steem-ambassador , @starkerz, @stephenkendal and all the curators that curate for our posts .
