Promo Focus Turned To Crypto Companies ....Today was Awesome

I have always heard and read that it is always good practice to adapt to the environment!

I am sure that above statement might be confusing unless i give more light to it as I show below.

It so happens that this last 3 weeks or month the Ugandan Steemit team has been promoting to universities as a target market and all has been smooth until of late!

I would encourage you to follow my blog for the last 3 weeks to find out the work we have been doing.We had some challenges though which we managed to circumvent.

The biggest challenge we met was that these students were soon or were sitting for their end of semester examinations.We had struggle getting and retaining their attention.I am happy to state that despite of that struggle we have managed to get some feedback from these students.

We had a plan of continuing this university promos ,but hit a snag yesterday as @battebilly went to one of our intended universities only to find there no students .We were supposed to be at Ndejje university but the students had broken off for holidays.

It so happens that most of all these universities have the same calender year In our posts we used to say that most of these guys were sitting for exams(almost all universities we went to!)and it seems most of them have finally broken off for holidays.

Change of Promo Focus

As the Ugandan team,we have a goal of having at least 200 people active by end of this year.We currently have around 30 active folks(active here means people who post 4-6 times a week!).

The lack of students at Ndejje made @battebilly and i to look for an alternative to our promo activity target and join we found another hot market..crypto companies!

This is really a great idea as this guys already are in the crypto business.We moved around town and indeed hit one company that we started with right away!

Visiting CryptoXl Ltd.

This is among the companies that deal in crypto here in Uganda.The guys here explained to us of a new upcoming coin called DRC GOLD COIN!

I cannot really explains a lot here about what we were told ,but just highlights.This is going to be a coin backed by gold.
It is really an interesting concept of crypto and I will be going back to them for more info.

We had a lengthy explanation with one of the administrators who we later introduced Steemit to.It so happens that he had heard of Steemit....what a relief to us! He just wanted to find out more and I explained all the minute details to him as shown below.


This gentlemnan later took us to the Director's office who gave us a detailed lecture in the history and future of money.He explained the whole concept of why crypto was created and why it won't be fought...he said we are in the financial revolution of money (something like that).

What you just need to know is that I got to understand a lot of concepts about money and crypto in the short time we were with him,he was buszzling with knowledge and i am happy I was there at that particular time,this was priceless wisdom folks.

We left this place late and these guys welcomed us to talk to their members any time we feel like and we were happy about their openness.We shall be going back there soon.

I asked these guys if they had heard of the Africa biggest 2018 Blockchain Conference organised by Blockchain Association of Uganda and they told me they had even alreadyeasy paid! These guys are updated and I am also saving up some money to attend it.

As I conclude,our new promo strategy is to look for such guys who already understand crypto ...this makes our work so easy.We shall be visiting another one tomorrow and i will update you guys.We want to round up all these crypto companies before end of this month.
