This is What Happened At The Recent Steemit Uganda Meetup....Check out.

I have come to believe that Steemit is the best of all opportunities i have ever been in or encountered!
I just cannot describe the joy I have as I write this post down for you.I was supposed to wrote it yesterday but had not composed myself because of the overjoy i had from the meetup!

Let me take this opportunity to thank @achimmertens for sponsoring our awesome event.He has really helped the Uganda community a lot.

Whoever came up with the idea of Steemit meetups....should be given a gold medal in creativity or in fact an Oscar award!

We had a new number of Steemit users here in Uganda.We decided to organise a meet for bonding and getting to know each other.

We had the meet up at Centenary park in our capital city Kampala.

We began the meet up with individual introductions.We just mentioned our names,how we got to know about Steemit,how long each has been on Steemit and obviously the benefits/achievements in Steemit so far.

The MC for the day was @ireneblessing,we covered many topics which i will briefly lost below.

The first topic of the day was what is blockchain,crypto and Steem blockchain.Our experienced Steemian @battebilly explained this topics so well.

The next topic was the difference between Steem and Steemit.I took much time explaning this two so that the people understand them so well.

Let me chip in again,we had fun as we exchanged many ideas as you can see from these faces below.

Let me continue with the agenda,i dropped that statement above just to remind you how wonderful the meet up was.I have many photos for you !

The next topic in the agenda was Why Steem is the best cryptos of all!!
Guess who answered presented this....take a guess....I did present this meticulously.

I will give a summary of my presentation below briefly.

Steem is the only crypto so far you can hodl and use at the same time.
You can buy Steem and convert it to Steem Power that can be used to upvote your individual posts and also curate other people's posts on Steemit.

You can also hodl other crypto like btc,eth etc.....but you can just hodl and that's it!
In Steemit you can kill two birds with one stone...hodl and earn while hodling....marvelous.

I gave an example of how many crypto folks are selling their other crypto to buy Steem purposely for that benefit I explained above! If you are active in Steemit,you should have red about such stories.

I also encouraged guys to stack up some small Steem Power and not just keep withdrawing all the time!

I also explained in minute details what Steem Power is and all its benefits.

I will again drop you spilling faces before I continue with the agenda of our meetup!.

The next thing on the agenda was the current Steemit Apps like dlive,dtube etc.This was marvelously explained by @yohan2on who was so passionate about it.He was even putting on a Dlive Shirt!

He tasked us to start using this other Apps on Steem Blockchain than only sticking to Steemit(he was talking directly to me!)

He talked of how he uses Steephot and dlive of late and he is getting support from these platforms.He directed us on how the login and upload a video or live stream on Dlive,since he is the senior.

Let me chip in again before I continue,we had different kinda of drinks according to individual faiths and beliefs!!!!

As you can see there,there was beer and sodas!

The next topic on the agenda was How to make your first 100$ on Steemit
This was handled by the man who made more than 250$ in his first month.Hey 250$ is big money here in Uganda.This was none other than @musamalijames .

He explained and encouraged guys who has not yet made that money.He told them its really simple as long as you are determined.

Its fascinating to learn that he made that money solely from commenting...yes commenting(great and thoughtful) on Steemit.

He gave us his story of how his first posts made zeros ....zeros and he decided to engage with other Steemians and boom he began earning money from commenting !

Another item we had in the agenda was How to get Steemit topics to write about
This was answered by our MC @ireneblessing who always writes a variety of topics(i just don't know how she does it hehehe until she told us).

She told us of how she reads many posts on Steemit that gives her ideas to write about.She vidlvidly explained this procedure in her latest post here.

You need to get time and read that post especially if you are struggling with post ideas.

The next session was opportunities in crypto.
This part was done by the crypto guy @sembozezade himself.
By the way,the very first time I met/saw this guy,i got him watching crypto videos....!! I just had to tell him Steemit and he signed up right way.

He talked of many things like faucets,consultancy etc. You can look for a
way of linking up with him.

The other thing on the agenda washow to make money on Steemit This was done other than @tesaganewton .
He talked of how you can join the many discord and telegram channels,he also talked of how to minimize account hacking by always using the posting key at all times and also automate redeem rewards procedure!

We also talked about what happened at the Africa Blockchain Conference and the opportunities at hand.

In a turn of events we continued partying at a place called Kyadondo Rugby grounds.We added more drinks and eats so that we can enjoy ourselves to the fullest.
