MINNOWS; FINDING A MENTOR
Still on the minnows matter, i remain my humble self @kesolink. I trust we are all having a wonderful week. As for me, am having a great time and i was able to hang out with some old time friends and trust me, i share the good new of steemit with them.
We hope to meet and talk better about the platform later in the week.
Yes back to the subject matter of today, finding a mentor. I will be very brief, explicit and straight to the point on today's tip, because it's very essential that every minnows need to have at least a mentor on the community.
Now you may be saying in your mind, i have identified my mentor but he/she seems not to give me any attention or even reply my Steem chat messages. Well, i have been there before so i understand.
The mentor you have chosen may not reply to your messages, you don't really need an immediate response to your messages because he/she gets a whole lot of messages and everybody expect an answer, which is not possible, the person has a life too.
What you simply need to do is follow the blog of the person you've chosen as your mentor and watch carefully what he or she does and build on that, make positive improvements.
By follow what he or she does, i don't mean plagiarism, i mean observe his trends of activities, for example he holds meet ups, you can organise a small meet up also, with a few friends, talk to them about the community.
Mentorship, is key to quick growth in this community.

@kesolink, you are absolutely right dear, having a mentor is the key to succeeding in any we do in life,(not only on steemit) but before choosing a mentor, you should choose the one who is a pro in what you are looking up to learn from him because if you learn from a quack, you will become a quack but by learning from a pro, you will become a pro as well.
patience is also a virtue a mentee must emulate so as to get the best from a mentor.

To me I feel steemit is loosing it's flavour, no body cares about anybody anymore.
Everyone is after his own.
The fact is once you are not into crytocurrency niche or doing steem meets up then no one would want to UPVOTE YOU because they feel you have nothing to Offer, which is nOt so.
so many newbies in the platform with quality content but no encouragement.
My outmost heart desires is always after the newbies because thats the only way this platform can succeed.
