Hello amazing steemians @oghie here.

No doubt, plagiarism is a vehement act on steemit. A number of individuals easily copy and paste or reword another person’s content, claim the ideais theirs. Sadly some people get away with it. others thrive on others labour. Come to think of it, what’s the gain of copying another person’s work?

The truth is you can never grow and learn, if you keep copying someone else work. You have to put effort on your own article.

Everyone is on a quest for originality
Everyone wants to be special no one wants to be left out. The truth is originality only showcases creativity, talent, and it gives you a competitive spirit. No body wants a repackaged idea, because in the market only new ideas are bought at a higher price.

The pressure to be creative in a world in which everyone is creating and sharing all the time is enormous. To complicate matters, modern life doesn’t often allow us to have the time and focus that we need to innovate. When this happens, many people have a hard time coming up with new ideas and ways to solve problems.

At the first sign of a creative blockage, people may twist the work of others as an inspiration. Sometimes this may lead them to steal another person’s idea and work making it look like they are the real owner.

With time, an individual will develop the habit of reconstructing another persons idea and work instead of taking out his/her time to search for fresh ideas. The end of this formula is failure.

  • You can’t copy the spirit of originality

There's a beautiful attraction whenever we see someone always coming up with something new and original.Their experience mixed together with their knowledge and skill wraps this innovation perfectly. Although this is an invisible but ever-present force in new ideas.

A copycat and a plagiarizer will never be able to offer an idea new life because they don’t have the what it takes. They lack the understanding of why an object behaves the way its behaving or why the product will work for someone else better than the other.

Copycats can never be first in anything, either. Someone who copies has to wait for somebody else to come up with the original idea before they can remix it for themselves. No matter what you make, it’s always going to be one step behind. It’s the knockoff– the less desirable version of the original. It’s a miserable way to live.

Rather than stealing someone else's work that he/she spent a long time probably a lifetime creating, why not embrace your discomfort and be original! Although it's cool to be inspired by their words or have a role model, but that doesn't mean you should plagiarize. You have to first of all believe in your self and then the original you comes out with your own special-kind-of-idea.

In conclusion

Each and everyone of us is capable of doing profound and outstanding things, but first of all you have to give yourself a chance. Irrespective of how difficult and tough it looks keep craving to be the original copy of yourself and not a a photocopy. Because at the end of the day, you’ll hold your head high knowing you’ve done something nobody has done before.

I agree 100% with you! Even if you make money out of it, plagiarism will ultimately become an empty shell that will simply consume your own identity.

You're absolutely right man.

This is precisely true:

The truth is you can never grow and learn, if you keep copying someone else work. You have to put effort on your own article.

@oghie thanks for sharing this beautiful and 'legally-backed' reminder.
Kind regards.

Thanks for reading bro, steem on!
