Ways to encourage readers to comment on your post #part 3

• Respond to the Comments Readers Leave
  For some of us who bare reply comment, (probably to busy to check) should try by all means to quit that habit. When you reply a comment on your blog, it directly sends a message to the commenter stating that your comment wad read and appreciated (although a vote can be replaced with that) but at times it's still fair to personally reply the comment.

If you ignore replying the comment, this might discourage the commenter and next time whenever you make a post, he'll just ignore commenting to. And also if the reader noticve you don't read the comments, they may not take the time to leave their opinions either. Regardless of how busy you are, you can spare atleast 5-10 minutes of your valuable time to check for comments and reply, probably if the comments are very long you might want to do it until you're getting a handful of comments on every post. Replying a comment doesn't necessarily mean you'll type a long story, sometimes just ''Thanks for the feedback'' or ''great point'' and then you leave a decent upvote attached to it (optional). This will help build a comment-relationship with you and your readers. Whenever you make a post they'll surely be the first to comment on it.

Replying to comments boosts your comment count.
