Far better than I had expected - Proving to be a great "icebreaker"..!!

These last few months have cemented my belief that changing my Social Media Profile to #steemtalent was absolutely the right thing to do.

When I changed my profile to #steemtalent on 19th June 2018 I wasn't entirely sure the kind of response I would get and I am very pleased to say that it has been far better than I had ever imagined.

Why the Facebook Model is dead..!!

For the past few years, I have been trying to get the message across that the Facebook Model is dead and that it's life expectancy is now drawing to a close.

When I talk about this, most people think I am absolutely stark raving crazy, but the reality is everything has a shelf-life and Facebook's has ended.

Facebook was great for the early 2000's but has since evolved into a platform that more and more people are starting to realise that nothing is free.

It has amazed me that it has taken so long for people to realise this, but I am now glad to see that this has started to change slowly.

People are simply fed up with Facebook

Ask people you know that still uses Facebook and most will tell you they are fed up with it.

Sure, they may use it from time to time to see what people are posting, but the reality is most see no Added Value to their Social Life than when it first started.

Added Value

It is all about Added Value and what is really going on in the background is that as time goes on, the real Added Value that Facebook brings to people's life is going down..!!

Why share your Creative Content for free on one platform, when you are valued on another?

It makes absolutely no sense and this is set to change on an unprecedented scale.

A new era of Social Media has been born and it is thanks to #Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology that rewards are set to be distributed to the users creating the content.

With so much Creative Talent out there looking for somewhere to share their content where they will be appreciated, these last few months have been an absolute pleasure for me to connect with new people and talk about #Steem.

By using #steemtalent as an "icebreaker" to start off a conversation with someone I first meet, has proven to be a great way to focus people's attention on the real Added Value of the #Steem Community and I look forward to continue reaching out for more users with a Creative Talent to come and join the Community for the foreseeable future.
