Well, I gave up on reasoning with anyone on here a long time ago... They'll figure it out eventually, I hope :)
The most successful companies spend billions of dollars each year on marketing just to stay at the top of the pyramid regardless of the quality of their products. Meanwhile, our top witnesses are making reviews for movies and videogames and speaking about their holidays. The price will drop even more. We can only blame ourselves.

For those who invested at 3,4,5 x the current price, I can imagine how they feel but someone always has to buy at the top. I have certain goals I'd like to reach here and would love more steem for some dapps I would like to build leveraging all the cool open source tech available here, so to me its not all doom and gloom and seeing it as an opportunity to get in cheaper than I would have had to in the past.
Yep.. Don't only do we not have marketing we also don't have a clear vision. It's taking a toll.
Sad but true. Many Dapps building on the Steem blockchain are heavily relying on Steem userbase and not engaging in marketing to onboard new users. Steemit Inc. needs to get involved like seriously too.
The 777 project seems to be gaining traction on twitter.
