One of the most effective ways of assisting people in society is to give to them their basic need. A need that makes them feel good and with much hopes. We speak of the health need of people. The society is much engulfed with poverty that, some individuals have difficulty in reaching out to the nearest medical centers for medical aid. It is in this regard that @bettervision has coupled with @wafrica to help some societies in Ghana in this regard.

A quick outreach was organized to ensure a community in Ghana called Santasi to receive a free medical attention. After a series of meetings with the community, leadership concluded that the just ended weekend deem very appropriate to undertake this exercise. The presence of @mcsamm from @wafrica which is headed by @surfyogi and @nattybongo who heads @bettervision made the outreach so much success.

The moment featured some few doctors, optometrists and other health assistants in ensuring the effectiveness of the activity. The activity started at 11: 00 a.m since the community was expected to have closed from the various churches and other meetings they had attended. It was so interesting to note that, old men and pregnant/lactating women were all in line to have a feel of this free health aid.

The many several materials that were used in achieving this was through the contribution of @mcsamm @nattybongo and few health personnel who found this outreach so good to get involved with their little amount. During the exercise, we identified that most people have their sight been affected in many different ways which they are so unconscious with.

Medical advice and prescriptions were given them to act as early as possible to avoid damages that this would have caused them. The old age was so fortunate to be given some sunglasses for free which they did expressed their excitement for acquiring that. Below are som photos of the moment shared during the outreach.
