What time is it with you? The time to quit or the time to press on?

Hello dear steemian

Many people are still in shock of sudden drop in price of cryptocurrencies especially the steem and sbd that concerns us the most on this platform.

Within the past 24 hours, I've received so many calls where many were asking for the next thing to do after the drop in price. Many others are swearing to quit blogging. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. So, I'm not trying to persuade anyone with sweet promises. If you are staying, it has to be from you, if you are going, it must definitely be from you as well.

But if your presence on steemit is solely determined by the price of steem and sbd, then you are not a true believer of the beauty of this platform. I advise you to go back to facebook where you won't have to bother about prices this much.

I wasn't here when the price was less than a dollar. So, I don't know how the things was back then. @meno posted something yesterday where he was able to justified the fact that sbd was meant to equal a dollar. I don't know how true that statement was, but if it were to be true, I think sbd is still doing pretty well. At least, it is still more than a dollar.

To be a whale, you have to do what the whale does. Most of them were here when the price was less than a dollar, they did not leave the platform when 1 SBD equals one 1 USD. They were still here when 1 SBD was 6 to 10 times USD, now that the price is coming down the ladder again, they are still very much around. What a loyal set of people.

I don't know when you come into the system, probably during the boom in price just like myself, but to have a long term success, you have to have long term goal. If you are been moved by every wind, you can't get anywhere.

@terazpk posted something about investments on steemit some times ago which seems to be the key to anyone's success on this platform. It doesn't matter how little you are contributing, just ensure you are contributing something. It might be your skill or your money, just ensure you are contributing

If you can contribute something little added to mine and to other people's little, it won't be little again, it would be massive... Smile

Now is not the time to quit, now is the time to stay around, now is the the to ensure your voice is heard. It is more easy to be heard today than last week because several people has quitted during that short period of time which give you more opportunity to be heard.

Don't be discouraged if you would listen to me.but,if you think it doesn't worth it, the door is open for your exit. But, I assure you, by the time you come back, you won't meet most of us where you left us.

Even if you are making cents per day, don't stop growing, for slow movement is also a movement

If the price should go up tomorrow morning, you can only trade what you have and if you have nothing, you trade nothing.
