Morning Hug

I wake and it is cold and dark outside.
The feel of it on my face makes me want to go deeper under my covers.
To relish in the warmth of my bed.
Then there is that perfect moment when my husband wraps himself around me.
I feel his breath in deep my scent on the back of my neck.
He is not fully awake and yet he pulls me closer to him.
This is one of my favorite moments of my day.
Before the children are awake, just enjoying that quiet moment with him.
