in #psychology5 years ago (edited)

Support is an essential element in the formation of a new cognitive and behavioral experience. It is equally important both in the training and in the pupils' education. For proper use it is necessary to observe the most general theoretical guidelines. Supports are incentives and reprimands . An essential element in the formation of new knowledge and experience, as well as in the formation and consolidation of temporary neural connections / imperfect reflexes /. If it does not match - the child can not properly navigate the situation and there is no motivation for a certain behavior, its activity is reduced and it becomes worrying and passive.

The disciple has a strong need for him. Makes everything possible to be interested in him and absent, moral-judgmental acts appear. Even negative reinforcements - a sanction, a reproof - is a testimony to him that he also exists among other disciples - prefers a punishment to silence and indifference. Supports must be in line with real achievements. Both the positive and the negative ones, which do not correspond to this, are equally damaging to the formation of the personality. Psychological laws in the use of reinforcements: - positive - promote positive emotions, motivate behavior to repeat in the future. They speak verbally - in words and non-verbal - with gestures and mimics. It is usually considered that these reinforcements cause positive emotions in the student, creating motives to act in the same way in the future. But in reality, it is not uncommon for a child, after being praised for good behavior, to start raving, becomes anxious and disobedient. With this behavior, he seems to want to justify his "compliment," to tell his educators that it is not really as good as they have appreciated.
