Psychology in False Belief: Mind Changer Part 1

There are many proofs in life which lead to the selection of choice either to change one's mind or to remain in the understanding of what we know. We all get busy proving one thing or the other every day. When it comes to proving difficult subject to meet slow-witted man you can achieve result if he has not formed any idea around the proof but in real sense the simplest thing might be very difficult to explain to most intelligent man if he already has the understanding of the idea he will always look at it like you want to change his mind from the understanding of his own belief.

Here, what's going on? Why doesn't fact change minds? Why would someone be rigid believing a false or inaccurate idea? Do you know that this behavior has a way to serve us?

Let's look at psychology in false beliefs;

In order to survive, there is a sense of accuracy humans need to visualize the world. Anything in life has its model of reality and if your perspective is wildly different from what world actual model is, there will always be a struggle in taking effective actions every day. Although, when considering humans mind, accuracy and truth are not the only two factors that guide the mind or speak to the mind, humans also have a deep desire to belong too.

From human anatomy, all humans are herd of animals and in many cases, we want to fit in, earn the respect and even approval of our peer. This is essentially important to our survival.

Case Study

In History, our ancestors lived in tribes. Everything they do is tailored to the tribe they belong to.

When a clearer picture of a thing is revealed, understanding is inevitable to good heart _{by samest}

Yes! Understanding and Tribe works together but while these two desires often work well together most times I'm to conflict.

According to the review done by Steven Pinker on people's mind and belief; Belief can either be condemned or embraced as a result of the function of mind which can either be to hold beliefs that brings the belief or hold the greatest number of allies, disciples or protector rather than holding the belief that is most likely to be true.

On Tribe and Understanding, our belief most times is based on what we are fed with which most times are superstition and we all believe it because of who establish the fact.

I will end this introduction with this notable summary;

We do not always believe things because they are correct, we believe because they make us look good to the people we care about.
