Continuando a série de Comemorativos Modernos Americanos, mostraremos hoje o 2006-S "Old San Francisco Mint" gradado pela PCGS PR70 DCAM.
Todas as moedas pesam 26,73g com 90% de pureza de prata. Foram emitidas com acabamento Proof e Brilliant Uncirculated.
Elas serão apresentadas na ordem em que foram cunhadas.
Esta moeda foi emitida para comemorar o centenário da sobrevivência do prédio ao terremoto e posterior incêndio em 1906.
Seu obverso mostra uma imagem da Old San Francisco Mint.
O reverso mostra uma cópia do reverso do Morgan Dollar, que foi emitido de 1878 a 1921 e foi produzido por muitos anos nesta Mint.
Foram emitidas 160.870 moedas em Filadélfia. O preço de lançamento foi de U$39,00 e o preço atual é cerca de U$90,00 neste grau.
