290 - Animais Africanos - Parte 3

Em 1971-1972 a Franklin Mint recebeu uma comissão da East African Wild Life Society para emitir vinte medalhas mostrando animais selvagens que viviam na África Oriental.

Seriam as medalhas The Big Game.

Elas são realmente grandes! Cada uma pesa 2,1oz (65,3g) com 92,5% de pureza de prata. O desenho foi do escultor Anthony Jones e o acabamento foi Proof.

Eu tenho apenas dez das vinte medalhas, mas continuo procurando as outras.

Vou mostra-las sem ordem específica.

As medalhas são pristinas, mas as cápsulas estão em mau estado e não consegui achar novas.

A terceira é o Elande.

I like coins of wildlife quite a bit! I’ve collected a lot of those sorts of coins from the Royal Canadian Mint over the years!
