Objective of the Project

Create ecosystems for decentralized quantum computing services in which universities, researchers, institutions and, in general, any interested user can benefit from quantum capabilities, be able to implement appropriate algorithmic implementations, adapted to their needs.

In other words, Qilimanjaro is a platform that allows users to easily and practically explore the possibilities of quantum computing. Its goal, as mentioned above, is to create a decentralized quantum computing ecosystem for everyone, both individuals and corporations, without the need for a quantum computer.

The project also aims to create a quantum computing platform that will be available to most of its users, giving them access to quantum computing concepts that are not expensive. Qilimanjaro uses a token known as QBIT, which is compatible with ERC20

 

Proposed Solution

 

Qilimanjaro is the latest project to join the quantum computing career with a different goal. Its objective is to develop the functional and accessible quantum computer with the open source quantum computing language (Qibo) that can be used by everyone in the world. The team has divided its objective into two main areas; computers and software.

The first team develops the quantum computer while the other develops the software and related services. The quantum computer developed by the team will allow access to the cloud at a low price, giving everyone the opportunity to be part of the modern information age. The team aims to develop four quantum computers; QILIMANJARO Quantum annealer, QILIMANJARO twins and QILIMANJARO Three magra.

QSS will offer users the benefits of the quantum algorithm and translation software. One of the most important parts of the project is the involvement of communities and universities in developing the quantum computer. The participation of researchers and engineers, corporations and developers will provide the required impetus for the quantum computing revolution. The application of quantum computing in various businesses, such as security, cryptography, IT and cloud storage, will further support the cause of the development of open quantum computing.

Quantum Computation Applications 

 

1.- Finances. Quantum computing can isolate risk factors in finance. This works through the use of quantum annealing, which solves problems in finance and thus enables new ways of modeling financial data to be found.

2.- Quantum chemistry. Quantum calculations can be used in chemistry for a better understanding of molecules. This can help in the development of new drugs, fertilizers and gases to capture atmospheric carbon.

3.- Neural network training. An advantage can be gained by using a quantum processor to train a neural network of a certain size, forcing you to learn from your mistakes and adjust more quickly and efficiently.

4.- Optimization tasks. Thanks to the use of quantum algorithms, problem solving has become easier because it studies all possible solutions to the problem simultaneously and presents the solution in a shorter period of time.

5.- Cryptography and security. Quantum computers can sometimes compromise cryptographic algorithms such as RSA, DSA and EEC. Quantum cryptography is used to increase security and prevent such attacks.
