What do you think really happens after we die?

On daily basis, many people lose their lives either through sickness or accident. Death knocks on the world everyday. where are all these people going to or where are those long gone.

In answering questions about life after death, we have to see it from diverse angles. If we want to view it from human experience, we find many guesses, many ideas, many theories—but no sure answers. That’s because, in the nature of the case, no human has a sure answer. The best people to answer this are the dead.

I will answer this question in more than one way.

1. Those which believe in the reincarnation of the soul of a dead person into a new human or animal form of existence. (The traditional worshippers)

2. Those which believe in an otherworldly state of existence after death. (Christians and Muslims)

3. On the perspective of those that doesn't believe God exist. (The Scientist or Atheists)

We all have different believe on matter relating to life, death and the after life. What some see as letter A doesn't seem to be A to some. They might see it as letter Q. In such case, every one is right in his own way. The way we view things can't be the same as we all have different belief.

---The traditional worshippers believe that there is a place where they will meet their ancestors after death and they also believe that there is always a second life. Sometimes when a new baby is born, you will hear some elderly people saying so so so person has come back again. My grand parents named me Yetunde, which means Mama has come back just because I look so much identical to one long dead woman in the family. They believe it is the dead woman that came back to life. Funny though. That's just their belief. They believe in reincarnation.

Also, some of them believe that some of their dead ancestors came back as animals. If you are familiar with African Hunters, you will understand what some of them go through in the forest with some animals that are spiritually powerful. These are recorded as dead ancestors that reincarnate as animals.

---The religious people especially the Christians and the Muslims believe there's life after death.

we can get this facts from the holy books..

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7

This is a bible verse talking about man's spirit going back to his maker after the flesh is gone. This shows that there is a place for everyone after departing from this world.

Just as people are destined to die once and after that to face judgement. Hebrew 9 :27

If the dead will be judged then they need to be conscious of life which means they will be alive in the after life to face judgement.

The Quran also stated :

Your first creation and your second creation will be identical. (Quran 31:29)

We will raise you into a form of which you have not the slightest knowledge. (Quran 56:62)

All this is talking about life after death.

The Muslim and Christian have a common believe of life after death. If your deeds are good, you will be resurrected and taking to heaven by the angels and if your deeds are evil, you will live in Hell till eternity. All these are believed to happen after death.

---For those that doesn't believe in the existence of God(The scientists or Atheists), they believe once a man dies, he becomes a manure. The only benefit he has then is to serve as nutrient to the soil. There isn't any special difference between man and animal. Does animals have an after life? Since our existence is from mamals, we are no different from them. The only thing that differentiate us is our reasoning. We all have one life, and its on earth. After death, that is an extinction of that individual.

Kelvin wrote : I have always felt that when I die, I am dead and gone, my conscious life will end, my interactions with others will end, and I will be simply gone. I don't know what causes consciousness (call it spirit, call it soul, I don't mean to pick sides with my words), but I expect that it will end. My afterlife will be in the memories of those I knew, those who loved me, those who carry me on in their hearts. I, myself, cease to exist.

This is the believe of atheists. No life after death.

As we have different people in the world,so also we have different opinion to where we are going after leaving this Earth. Our belief differs. While we all have diverse opinion on after life, it is important to live the recent one with love and care with others. Just like I mentioned before, the dead knows better. Coupled with individual belief, we will all face the fact and know the true answer when death strikes.
