Before answering the above question, I will advise those who are too greedy for the rewards or cash to stop the habit of providing wrong answers or spam because it misleads not only the questioner but all other people willing to learn about the particular question answered.

Let's now discuss about your question.

Sincerely, I do feel sad and cheated anytime I notice people spamming when providing answers to questions on musing which makes them get upvoted from musing due to the length of their answers.

Some great writers and genuine answer providers may not even be given a worthy upvote when compared to some spammers on musing and I believe something has to be done about this kind of problem.

We may not be able to eradicate every spammers very easily but I am very sure we can get them reduced using the below strategies.

1) INCREASING THE NUMBER OF CURATORS: I think one of the main reasons there are lot of spammers is that the curators are limited or very small such that they can't have much time and energy to go through all posts before curating.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying the present curators aren't doing their work. The sad truth is that these few curators are earning nothing from musing after their great effort to curate every posts. I think all musing curators deserve some accolades for their effort and stress in curating musing posts. I really commend the few curators for their effort and I hope every musing users also appreciate their efforts because it is not easy to be reading different posts, analyzing posts and then selecting posts worthy of getting upvote from musing. Much respect and thanks to the curators for their great impact on the platform.

I believe if musing have more curators than the present, the curators will have more time and energy to go through posts and from there they can detect spammers and avoid upvoting their posts.

The fact is that as more people are making use of musing to engage in learning and earning, there should also be more need or want for curators to enable the work to be done easily and conveniently.

I believe the increase in number of curators will reduce the chance of spammers earning upvote from musing.

2) REPORT ANYONE FOUND GUILTY OF SPAMMING : To make musing more developed, we also have to play our roles. One of the reasons why the discod channel was created was to enable musing users meet each other and report issues or problems. There is an open channel on the discod platform where users are able to make complaints. Feel free to share your thoughts and expose anyone whom you think loves to spam so that the team will rectify the issues.

3) APPLYING DISCIPLINARY ACTION : Sometimes we need to apply force and take action against people who want to bring us down. I think if musing can adopt a rule such that anyone who is caught spamming will be suspended for sometime or flagged by musing on such posts. This will also reduce the number of spammers because everyone wants to earn and no one wants to run at loss. These spammers will feel very intimidated if they can't earn cool cash for sometime just because of their wrong doings. I am very sure if they get released from ban, they won't try such thing again.

I think applying disciplinary action to the spammers will help this platform spam free.

4) THE USE OF SPAM DETECTORS : One of the fastest ways of doing away with spam on musing is to make use of spam detectors. These detectors should be able to detect any spam posts on the platform.

The spam detectors can either be in form of people whose work is just to detect spam apart from the curators or they can be written programs or codes such as bots which will detect such irrelevant actions on the platform.

5) EDUCATING MUSING USERS: Sometimes, not all spammers actually knows that spamming is a bad thing.

As a musing user who wants the best for musing, we should try as much as possible to educate people about the adverse effect of spamming. We can also meet with some spammers we suspect and educate them such that they will feel very sorry for their actions.

I will also recommend musing to make an icon or a word stating "Spamming isn't allowed" so that they can always remember this.. Lols... Even though it may sound funny as it is but that's actually the fact.

These are the above methods I think it will help musing to reduce the chance of spammers earning upvote.

In conclusion, please let's stay real on this great platform by answering questions we confidently know and let's also stay true to ourselves by admitting we don't know some questions and there is nothing bad in learning from other people's answers. The sad fact is that almost most of us are too greedy for money such that we don't really care about the kind of false answers we provide on the platform even though it is something very bad which can mislead millions of people.

Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.
