DSC_#87.JPG

This photo was taken in Nepal on a trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp. After two night stay in Dingboche at an altitude of 4.360 m. above sea level we continued to Lobuche. On the way we pass these houses used as shelters for yak herdsmen. Behind them - the beautiful snowcovered peaks of the Himmalayan mountain range.

Spectacular scene! Are those huts inhabited?

The Himalayas are impressive. No doubt about that! no not inhabited.

Breathtaking photo :-)... Not too hard physically to hike in this mountains ?

thanks...yeah, it was hard at times. Especially the last few days because of the high altitude. But wonderful hike. Beautiful mountains. Makes one feel really small ..
