#249 Snapshots of Structures | 菲斯住处随拍

Greetings everyone! I'm still traveling in Morocco and sharing some shots snapped at the place I stayed in Fez.

Full of old-world charm, Fez is often referred to as Morocco’s cultural capital, and is famous for its walled medina with medieval Marinid architecture. From the 13th to the 15th century, the country was ruled by Marinid, a Sunni Muslim dynasty of Zenata Berber descent.

The elaborate structures, ornate decorations and intricate details in this place are just amazing. They look different from the previous few riads I stayed in other towns of Morocco. Though it's not my kind of style, I was impressed and kept wondering how much time and labor had been devoted into building and restoring this stunning palace.

这里分享些我在摩洛哥菲斯古城住处内部拍的照片。菲斯历史悠久，常被称作摩洛哥的文化之都，尤其是旧城，处处散发着古朴神秘的韵味。

这家旅馆就位于旧城，由古老的宫殿改建而成。这些繁复精美的建筑结构和装饰跟之前在其他地方呆过的几家riad(庭院老屋)有所不同，虽然不是我喜欢的风格，但还是很让人惊叹。我边转边拍，不住地感慨，建造和修缮这些杰作该是投入了多少时间和劳力呀。
