Qurator HF Update
With the new HF we saw tons of things change. As with most changes all projects must also adjust to make sure all still benefit and get the most out of Steemit services. Qurator took some time to check out how things balance out. Here are the things we worked on to make sure our members still receive more than they give. Let's go!

1. Subscription Changes
Previously there were several subscription levels for monthly Qurator upvotes. This is falling away to make only one level. So instead of paying for your specific tier you can now only send 2 steem and get the bonus monthly upvotes.
Send 2 Steem to @qurator with SUB Sept (or the month your want to sub for) and get an upvote equivalent to a 5000SP account for the month. Upvotes are still once a day and the minimum upvote value will look like this (it will still gain in value as the post gets more votes):
*We are aware that with the new HF upvote values are not a set in stone like they used to be and their value jump around a lot according to how many upvotes you have on your post. We feel Q is giving a big enough bonus to make up the minimal monetary value of an upvote and things will indeed be profitable if you post often.
All members that have already subscribed with 4 Steem for the month of September, will have their subscription extended till the end of October.
2. Upvotes to @qurator Changes
In the past, we accepted upvotes to @qurator and then returned the votes with a 1:1.1 ratio. Thus, if you upvoted @qurator posts with $0.10 then you will get $0.11 back. With the new upvote systems of the HF where there are minimum and maximum monetary values as the post receive more upvotes we decided to up this ratio to 1:1.4 because some of our members still get few upvotes on their posts and the total value of the @qurator upvote will not reflect a positive return. Upvotes still counted weekly every Monday.
Some good news is that most upvotes to @qurator end up being pretty good and close to pre-HF values. Thus, the value of your upvote and the return upvote we give back will in most cases be way more than you give so it is a win-win to keep on upvoting @qurator.
3. Tokens News as a Bonus!
As you know we only issued 10 000 of our tokens and distributed them among previous investors, delegators, sales, promotion and some to our team. While we pay out 50% of our curation rewards to token holders in the form of liquid Steem we can only issue new tokens once our 90-day average curation reaches new highs. We issued 10 000 in the beginning since our average was just above 20 Steem. That means each token being hodled can get at least 0.001 Steem per day.
As soon as our 90-day curation average reaches 30 SP, another 5000 tokens will be issued.
Welcome new HF and our curation doubled! That means we will soon be issuing more Qurator tokens to bring the total up to 15 000. That means 5000 new tokens that will be issued.
When will this happen? SOON! We are attaching a graph to give you an idea of when we can expect the 2nd round of token distribution.
This is the 90-day moving-average of 50% of the total curation. This is what is used to determine Token payouts and when the next round will go live
Whaaat!? That is a day and night difference and since we recently got more delegations we will see way more tokens being issued, most will go to delegators. The amount that Qurator holds to pay delegators does not get the bonus of the 50% payout from @qurator's curation. This means that each token held in your Steem Engine wallet will definitely give more than 0.001 Steem payout per day. This will keep growing and balance out as more curation averages are achieved and tokens are released!

It's been ages I wrote anything on steemit. It's unfortunate, because I am a believer of the steem eco-system and blockchain in general. However, with current bear market in the alt-coins it is hard to keep a positive attitude. I consider myself mostly an outsider and observer of steemit. I am a believer but I am a skeptic at the same time.
I think when we don't get enough support from an eco-system we can do a few things to make things better as opposed to complain about it. I think Qurator is doing exactly that with the launch of the Q-token. It is currently one of the only ways to fund the expense of running this project. I am very much looking forward to the round 2 sale of the Q-token. One of the powerful element of Q-token is the limited supply and no inflation built-in. I am an investor/trader. One of the worst thing you can do to an economy is to have inflation and over supply. That in general is the main problem with Steem as a cyptocurrency. We fight that to monetize and make our steem work harder. Q-Token is one of the potential solution for a small project like this.
So what else can we do. Well that remains the same as always. Ask people to use this platform. Use this platform to post meet up, football team draft, course announcement or whatever else that float your boat. Lower prices can be terrible for earning but it is a great time to put some fiat money into the system if you have nothing to loose. Now not many people can do that, and this is not an investment advice. But many of us bought plenty of junk-coins in 2018. If there is any value left in some of those, may be consider sweeping them into Steem and monetize some asset. To put my money where my mouth is; that is exactly what I am doing personally.

The subscription is okay, no refund needed. Do I need to stop delegating? Because I get 0.058$ upvotes even though I’m to get upvotes of an account with 5000sp and I’ve delegated 150sp

The new Subscription value was only introduced today, so your next subscription upvote should be worth 5000 SP.
No need to undelegate - it all still adds up: 5000 sp for sub + 1500 sp for delegation.
