150918: Acrylic Pour: White, Grey, Purple, Violet & Gold
It's an awesome day up here in the mountains. Warm, windy gorgeous blue skies.
We had just arrived home from breakfast and salvos when I realised I didn't have a video for today so I decided to do a quick pour using my favourite colours.
I know I've done this combo many times but but I've decided to mandala-tangle some of my acrylic pours, so I'm going to need more of these purpley canvases
Not only can you see the end results of @bearone's artistic talent with the images shared in this post; but you can also see how it was made in the video. Pretty COOL!

Rare Book of the Day – Kesey's Garage Sale, Ken Kesey. First Edition, Signed by Ken Kesey and Ken Babbs
Ken Kesey was an American writer and counterculture figure. His first novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, published in 1962, was an instant success and formed the basis for the eponymously titled 1975 film starring Jack Nicholson. Following this, he moved to California and became ingratiated into the bohemian and literary culture of the day, hosting "happenings" under the moniker of The Merry Pranksters
Did you know ALL this about the author Ken Kesey? Such notable books and movies!
And guess which rock band back in the 1960's he mentored? I never would have guessed this one!

My Contribution CleanPlanet Of 13/09/2018
Today a @cleanplanet contribution a little more sporting since it is a walk a bit fast along the gorges of Furon, which arrives on the commune of Sassenage. You will be able to appreciate the wild beauty of this place at the gates of the agglomeration.
And very quickly the troubles begin
Everyone wants to keep the planet clean for future generations, so stop over to see how @cryptoyzzy spent an afternoon recently cleaning up at a nearby nature area. We can all do a little to help by picking up debris and garbage; even if just one day or walk a week.

Using Voting Button Is A Double-Edged Sword?
Today I come to give a reflection on what they have read as a title use voting button is a double-edged sword
This thought comes to me because the groups destined to cure, have the habit or put a chip that says -only should support the post with less value- . That in a way is fine, but they leave out many posts that have both monetary value and value in quality for the community
The self-vote issue has been a topic for quite some time on the platform. What are your thoughts?
At one point, we have all self-voted for ourselves; it's a personal choice and reason why we do it; and why some continue to do it.

Ulog 16: Typhoon Ompong
The weather has been pretty gloomy. They have been reporting about the incoming super typhoon for the past few days. We've been preparing for it, bring our stuff from the lower ground to the the second floor, stocking up food and whatnot
Schools are closing down, people are stocking up on supplies and as the rain starts up near @klea's home, she keeps her store open for others; but decides to take a moment to sip some hot cocoa before the typhoon strikes. Stop over to wish her and her family safety before the storm arrives.

We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.
