Daily Curator #1 (29).jpg

New Rules:

We are changing the rules of Photo Friday, Tasty Tuesday and Toss up Thursday. All of them will now be the comment with the MOST upvotes. Only upvotes from fellow Qurator Members will count. We will also be announcing in Discord 48 hours and 24 hours before each post payout to ensure members know that there is time left to come and cast their upvotes for their fellow Qurites.

Welcome to the 28th Edition of Photo Friday - Hosted by @qurator!

Below you will find some unbelievable images captured by your fellow Qurites from all over the world! See what adventures they have shared with all of us! Don't forget to vote for your favorite and if you'd like to nominate your own image for next week's competition, make sure to comment #nominate below.

Each Friday we will select 5 Qurites and feature their photography in our Daily Qurator post. Each Qurite featured in this post needs to comment with their photo featured in this post. The user with the most upvotes on their comment (not money value) will win a Tier 5 membership for 30 days!. Only comments from Qurator members will count. The votes will be counted when this post reaches payout.

Want to take part in Photo Friday? NOMINATE! After you upvoted your favorite photo!

DO

Want to take part in the next Photo Friday? Sure you can! Simply comment in the comment section with #nominate.

We will then consider your account and look over your feed for any Photography related posts for the upcoming Photo Friday

DO NOT:

Post links and/or pictures of your most recent posts. We will not choose them. Why? Well, we want the nominees to also benefit from being in the Photo Friday Edition. If you give us a link now and we use it for the next issue of Photo Friday your post has most likely reached payout. That means no extra upvotes... We will select the most recent posts from your feed.

So instead, just include#nominatein your comment of this post (don't forget to vote for your favorite photo first).
We will take it from there and consider your feed for the next Photo Friday.

We hope this can spark some more interest in the photography community within Qurator. Hopefully to get more users to visit photography related blogs and appreciate your photography. Hopefully there will also be some nice rewards on your comment in this post.

We have made it easy for all participants by providing the links to their photos that they can just copy and paste into the comment section of this post to officially enter the competition!

PLEASE NOTE, ONLY THOSE FEATURED IN THIS POST MUST PASTE THE LINKS BELOW IN THE COMMENT SECTION. POSTING THE LINK IF IT IS NOT YOURS COULD RESULT IN A FLAG.

The Rebellion Icon

As probably many of you know, Venezuela have been passing thru many serious Social and Political issues, due to that, many people have been showing their dislike to the situation by public massive protests from the big cities to the mos rural towns and seriously from February 2014. We've been in the streets since day one, some days fighting for our rights, some days documenting with our cameras, some days both

Look at how @themonkeyzuelans was able to capture each individual flame from this fire. You can almost feel the heat!

Miss Y
This image was captured in Warsaw, Poland. Look at her pose... the eloquence of her dance stance and the grace she displays. Beautiful!

Macrophotography- Rock, Pebble, Seashell And Sea Glass

A monochrome macro shot of a composition of a flat bicolor pebble, a small irregularly-shaped rock, a piece of white sea glass and a tiny seashell that my dad collected on the Mogren Beach in Budva

Such simple beach items all put together can tell a story; especially when in a monochrome image. What do you see; or what does your creative imagination tell you about these items?

The Weave For Monomad Wednesday

This is a fragment of the grid made by weaving from the fibers of the plant

WOW! I never would have thought a plant had so many fibers in them. How cool! I wonder what plant this is... maybe @madlenfox will let us know.

I returned with new pictures from the mountain as I promised yesterday. Today I went for a walk in the forest and I gave a small waterfall through the forest and I took the picture. The pictures are made with the phone and modified

You can almost see EVERY ripple from every splash of the water heading over this cliff. What a GREAT image!

Good luck to all the entries! May the best photo win!

Congratulations to the winner of the 27th Photo Friday: @bawangmerah230

Mi completo apoyo para los monos jajaja. Saludos.

I love the texture of the fire in this shot. Good luck in the contest.

Wow , the color contrast is amazing in this one, love it!

See how thick the flame is...

Good shot you two!

Incredible picture, lot's of symbolic meaning to it as well.

there is symbolism behind this... amazing picture

I have seen that trick before to put tyres back on rims when they pop off....maybe a touch to overboard on the petrol though!

Great post and awesome photo!

fabulosa toma. me encantan esas llamas

Thank for all the support everyone!!! @qurator just announced that thanks to all of you, we're now on Tier 5 for a month. Isn't it amazing???

In freshwater tropical waters of Africa,Madagascar, Australia, China, Thailand, Vietnam and some other Asian countries is growing a very interesting plant. It has the name Water hyacinth, or scientific name Eichhornia (Eichhornia crassipes)
This exotic plant has one serious drawback: its leaves, stems and roots grow very thick, which creates a real impassable jungle that threatens the oxygen balance of eco-systems
Dense carpet of this plant covers the surface of water bodies. This leads to the death of other inhabitants of reservoirs and worsens the oxygen balance.

But, to help local residents came designers. They found a way to process this plant. Local residents cut eichornia and form bundles of its roots, of different thickness, from which after drying they weave strong and long ropes. Now from such strong fibers make various pieces of furniture and interior. This is an environmentally friendly natural material, it is completely natural, does not contain any toxic substances or materials of animal origin .

This plant chokes up rivers, I heard they use them for fertilizer once chopped and decomposed. Find a good use for them is a better idea, since those weaving will pluck them out regularly and eventually remove them.

Very interesting and lovely black and white photography @madlenfox

@joanstewart Thank you very much for your comment and interesting addition to my story :)

Oh, the rules just changed. I hope this plays out well.

Thank you Qurator!
This is Yuka - a prima ballerina of Polish National Ballet in Warsaw.

Huh? What happened? Did yesterday's Toss Up Thursday post get invalidated? Do we need to send our entries again?

Seems there was a posting mistake. We fixed it and made this the Photo Friday Edition. Sorry about that. =P
