Sometimes we don’t want to give because we feel what we have is not even enough for us, so why should we give out. The truth is the blessing is in giving. That is why it is called giving because it has to be sacrificial. Anyone can give when it is easy, but the true test and satisfaction comes when we give even when it wasn’t easy. Think for an instance, why would God place you in a position to give, when He knows your own needs and He wouldn’t compensate you? He knows how to. Giving is the key to unlocking more. It sounds illogical, but most spiritual things defy logical reasoning.
I would rather live for a day and touch many lives than to live for a hundred years and not be remembered by anyone for positive impact.
My friend and I were talking about the stuff I saw online before the bike man and the lady incident. I saw something online about a lady visiting her boyfriend’s mother at home, with her boyfriend. She worked in the kitchen with the mother, cooked, the even prepared goat meat together and when it was time to dish out the food, the mother gave the lady her food without any meat. According to them, they want to test if she is a good wife material. That is sickening. Hearing stuff like this get me angry. This is not how to test if someone would be a good wife to your son by pushing them to the limit.
She joined in preparing all of these, and it would have been a different story if she doesn’t know there was a goat meat somewhere. Sometimes we put people through tests that we can’t even go through ourselves. That is just not nice. That is a greater level of disrespect as I would put it and it would be nice for that lady to just cut ties with this despicable family. If she put up with this, there would come a time they would even test her to see if she would commit adultery or whatever it is that tickles their fantasy. You don’t do that to another human being. She has flesh and blood for crying out loud.
Never push people past their breaking point because we all have limited and you don’t know how much time left they have till they reach their limit. Never do unto others what you would never wish to be done to you. Obviously, such a relationship won’t last long as they would always be at the mercy of the mother’s interference. It is a big shame on the guy too, to have allowed such nonsense to be carried out on his girlfriend. He is supposed to protect her and he failed to do that.
