Hey Actions!

In all fairness, ‘Argo’ became one of the best films of 2012. A great kaleidoscope in which all the pieces fit fabulously, creating an entertaining work with an incredible and exciting story.

And it is that in almost few occasions we can enjoy a film in which everything or almost everything works, from the great cast, to a simply great script (it covers from the detail and historical rigor through the bittersweet acidity of the mordacity of Hollywood, going through the auto-parody comedy of the system, and well ... the typical pseudofamiliar drama inserted with shoehorn, peero bueeeh ... you can pass), and perfectly mounted action scenes that far from being a commercial stick. Although it is true that in his final stretch, no matter how much excitement and suspense he is capable of agglutinating, he does notice a lot of tickling the script in that eagerness to overcome the "most impossible yet", in which he seems to want to approach dangerously to the land of parody, although it is true that it keeps us expectant glued to the screen.

Ben Affleck has already reconfirmed once again that his greatest vocation is to lead far more than to act. Because, of course, here leaves us another linear interpretation and flatter than anything else, more typical of the one that meets the minimum than the one that stands out. Quite the opposite of the rest of the cast, splendid from beginning to end, from the always magnificent Goodman and Arkin (here they could sign a simply unique comedy duet) to the rest of the members, mentioning especially the “6 riders”, who without the need for excessive psychological explorations with only looks and loose phrases, they are more than defined.

One of those films that leave you with an excellent taste after seeing it, of those little moments of good cinema that are so much and so much appreciated, of those few works that are capable of demonstrating that sometimes commitment and entertainment can also go hand in hand . Not only of those that are worthwhile to tidy up the wallet at the box office, but of those to review more than once as soon as the screens are transferred. Deserved Oscar and film to remember.
