Melon granite with black pepper
Granite is a dessert of Sicilian origin, similar to sorbet, only more friable. Granite from melon, seasoned with black pepper, - an unexpected combination even for the sophisticated gourmet.

Ingredients
- 1 small cantaloupe (about 1 kg);
- ½ cup of sugar;
- ¼ cup of white muscat wine;
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.
Preparation
Melon melon, along with wine and pepper must be brought to a consistency of puree. The easiest way to do this is blender. If there is no muscat wine, then you can use any other white sweet wine.
The resulting mixture is put in a shallow form and sent to the freezer for 30 minutes. Then remove, mix and return to the freezer. Repeat the procedure every half hour for 2-4 hours, until all the liquid has gone and the ice does not become crumbly.
Ready granite in a low glass beakers or bowls. Serve with lightly sprinkled with black pepper.
