The Dutch kitchen has delicious old-fashioned stews in the winter season

Hotchpotch is originally a one-pot dish of carrot 🥕, onion, and potato 🥔

Today on 💘 Valentine's Day 💘 I've made a variation of the old-fashioned hotchpotch

🛒For this dish you need:

• Homemade mashed potatoes
• Onions cut in rings
• Sliced 🥕carrots into thick julienne strips
• 🥓Bacon in strips
• Garlic

👩🏼‍🍳How to prepare:

Fry the garlic and onions in a wok pan
Add the 🥕carrot and wok over a medium heat
Add a half-cup of water and put the lid on the pan
When the water evaporates, add the 🥓 bacon
Wok the bacon and the vegetable mixture over medium heat
When the bacon is stick to the pan, gently mix the mashed potatoes into the mixture

Delicious with homemade meatballs with meat gravy
