Mod your Rode mic into a musical monster!
Here is a little modification for the very popular Rode NT1a microphone. The idea is to simply replace the microphone capsule with a U47 clone capsule and you get one hell of a mic.
I’ve made many recordings with this mic after the modification, whereas I barely touched it before. It had no “mojo”. Now it’s all magic.
