Song of the Day: Battle Symphony by Linkin Park

This is my first time to write for #songoftheday by @recordpool. The first song that I had chosen to share is Battle Symphony by the band Linkin Park.

Linkin Park has received backlash after their song Heavy which sounded too pop for the fans. They went on to release Battle Symphony which somewhat sounded edgier, yet it is still a deviation from their old sound.

Upon my understanding, the song is about battling with something, not the literal battle. It might have something to do with depression, something which Chester Bennington openly talked about. It's like dealing with your depression like a symphony. Despite the battle you have to go through. Just listen to the symphony and everything will be okay. However, the process is ongoing. There are days that are good. Some days are not.
