Today's Topic:
DEFER JUDGEMENT UNTIL THE FINAL DAY

📖 Bible Reading:
Matthew 13:24-33, NLT:-
🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋🖋
24 Here is another story Jesus told: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.
25 But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away.
26 When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew.
27 “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’
28 “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed.
“‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked.
29 “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’”
31 Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field.
32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”
33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”

🔑 Key Verse:
Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds… then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.”

  • Matthew 13:30, NIV

The Message:
Many believers feel discouraged and disappointed when they see the wicked prosper around them. The truth we must always remember is that good and evil will continue in the world until the final harvest. Today’s passage is about the parable of a farmer that planted good seeds of wheat and woke up the following morning to see that the enemy had planted weed among his good seeds. The first thing that will come to mind is that the farmer should immediately remove the weeds so that the seeds can have enough space to germinate. But the farmer thought that if he hastily removes the weeds there are tendencies that some of the good seeds will be injured. Therefore, he decided to allow both the weeds and the wheat to grow together till the day of harvest when final separation will be put between them.

This is the picture of the world we live in today. The world is full of wickedness and ungodliness, but God is encouraging the believers to persevere just a little more till He finally put separation between the wicked and the righteous. Do not let the wickedness that goes on around you destroy your relationship with God. Focus on the promises of God and you will experience His peace.

Birthday Blessing:
“…I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee…”

  • Isaiah 41:10

Read Bible Through Passage:
Deuteronomy 15; Psalms 102; Isaiah 42; Revelation 12.

Food for Thought:
“The Spirit-filled life is not a special, deluxe edition of Christianity. It is part and parcel of the total plan of God for His people.”
