“Someone might say to you at that time, ‘Look, there is the Messiah!’ Or another person might say, ‘There he is!’ But don’t believe them. False messiahs and false prophets will come and do miracles and wonders, trying to fool the people God has chosen, if that is possible. So be careful. Now I have warned you about all this before it happens.
Mark 13:21‭-‬23 ERV

If you don't want to loose your place in the body of Christ Jesus, one of the things you need to do to be firmly planted in the body of Christ Jesus is to beware of false doctrine in the church and also all over the social media.

Right now, all over the world the children of God are being bombarded on daily with false doctrine. The Church a place to go and join others in worshipping God, where the Word of God is preached in it undiluted form, is being turn into a center where false doctrine are being taught.

Today are many fake preacher who because of their stomach decided to become pastors, evangelist and prophet. Many of them are devil agent in disguise on mission to lead many astray from God Kingdom through false doctrine.

In society today are people on social media propagating false doctrine all in of political correctness and to please man. Some are doing it to create a celebrity status for themselves.

My dear reader beware.

I don't think it's possible to lose your place in the body of Christ. You can't lose your salvation.

I don't like the ERV translation. The Bible should be translated as close as possible to the original words used. Someone can use a dictionary or a commentary if they don't understand it. This is what it really says:

(Mark 13:22 NIV) For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect--if that were possible.

Hmm, i know God is not a wicked or heartless God and Jesus coming and death is for the salvation of all that's why we are mandated as a Christ follower to preach the gospel to the world so as to save souls and bring them into the kingdom of God.

I can't claim to be an authority when it come to reading, studying and understanding the word of God but i will like to ask a question

What do you think would have be the ending of the prodigal son if he had ignore all the signs or pointers pointing out his mistakes and the result of his foolish decision ? What do you think would have been the ending if he did not return and seek forgiveness?

There are many of our fellow brothers and sisters who got backslide and become a total non believer of Christ and from my experience i know God is not resting on their case. Everyday by day, every second He is always talking to them, nudging them here and there. What do you think will be their fate if they refuse to give in till the end?

Now in the church and society are people all in the name of what they will eat and political correctness are subtling changing The Word of God and if those listening to them are not careful before they know it they will find themselves out of tune with The True Word of God, even discarding it.

So truth...No man knows the day or the hour of Christ's return...(Matthew 24:36).

Peace.

Yes no one know but while waiting for the appointed time we should be wary of fake men of God and those sacrificing The Word of God on the alter of political correctness so that our case won't be like the virgins who were left behind.

God help us and empower us with the grace to remain true to Him.

Amen! That's what's meant by being wary of people who spend their time telling people of a set time of the Lord's return. You're absolutely correct. Just because someone stands on the altar doesn't mean they are approved by God.

Best regards.

Peace.
