Remembrance Sunday Coming Soon

Each year the second Sunday in November is celebrated as Remembrance Sunday. When we remember those who died fighting for 'true' freedom. The freedom that we like to enjoy, freedom of choice, freedom to live in peace, freedom to work out our own salvation. Not freedom to plunder and take what others have worked to build, not power gained by murder and deceit.
This year it falls on 11 November. A significant day. One hundred years ago it marked the end of World War 1, a war where 20 million people lost their lives. For us Rhodesians it is also a special day. We gather to remember our fallen.
