Project Freedom Ride

As you all know, I am a huge animal lover. So when I came across this video of Roman and his mother Jen, it warmed my heart to see someone so young out helping homeless dogs.

Jen and her 6 year old son Roman, go to their local shelters in Texas and help the dogs there get homes by socializing them with Roman and showing others that they are kid friendly. Roman making videos with the dogs at the shelter, help them get adopted faster. By making videos of the dogs with Roman, Jen is showing potential owners that just because they are in a shelter, they are still kid friendly and need forever homes.

Roman who started joining his mother at the shelter at age 4, really is passionate and devoted to helping these dogs find their new homes. In 2017, they rescued 720 dogs in a really great organization called, Project Freedom Ride. This organization saves the lives of canines in Texas from the high kill shelters, and provides them with a new chance to have a loving forever home.

Roman has blossomed when it comes to saving these dogs, he doesn't just find them new homes, he loves them unconditionally and truly cares for their wellbeing. With every new dog he meets, he forms a bond with them. This bond helps him show that they are still loving dogs, just ones that have had a hard life.

The biggest rescue they have done is transporting 111 dogs to Washington from Texas. Some of the dogs already had adopters and some did not. Roman personally delivers these dogs to their new owners. He is there through the whole process, from helping save them to finding them new homes that are filled with nothing but love.

Roman is only 6 years old and he is a true humanitarian. This little boys heart is filled with nothing but pure love.
