Marrs Green is a deep blue-green color, which, depending on our perception, can be "rather blue" or "rather green". This name was given to him by one of the contestants, designer Annie Mars. According to the girl, she was inspired to create a shade of rich blue, lush green and dark gray play of the river Tay in her native Scotland.
According to The Telegraph, the survey was attended by about 30,000 people from 100 countries. Analysis of the results allowed us to determine which shades people like more, and eventually choose a color that everyone would like about the same.
"Colors are notoriously complex, especially if we perceive them through a computer screen. Some colors, known as focal colors, are obviously red, yellow, or, for example, blue. But there are others that are on the border of two colors, and they attract us more, as we can perceive them as we like at the moment", — says the victory of Marrs Green psychologist Chris McManus (Chris McManus), Professor of University College London (University College London).
Interestingly, in 2015, a similar survey conducted by YouGov showed that the world's most favorite color was blue. It was attended by residents of the UK, Germany, USA, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia — and in all these countries blue confidently came out on top.
