Review of the film "The Lost City of Z" (2016)

The film "The Lost City of Z", created by American filmmakers in several genres - drama, adventure, biography and history, was released on October 15, 2016.

I really like movies made in the genre of historical adventures, based on the biography of real-life personalities who have left their indelible mark on the life of society, in which there are already on the right of fiction and genres such as drama and action.

This film will go on real early in the last century man, Colonel Fossett, who all his life devoted to find the mysterious, and from such enticing, lost among the lush and impenetrable thickets of the Amazon, located in South America, cities and villages.

No one has seen them and knew about them only from myths and legends that have kept the descendants of the ancient Indians.

Here we learn about the expedition, which was the last for Fossett, because going to it in 1925 in search of the mysterious capital of the Incas, the City of Z, he never returned.

It is noteworthy that he, having behind him the experience of eight expeditions to Brazil, this time predicted that neither he nor any of his fellow travelers home, most likely, will not return.

In this regard, the Colonel demanded that he was given the word not to send anyone in search of them, so as not to expose anyone to possible danger.

There were, however, daredevils who disobeyed the order of the Colonel, and after he did not return, was still organized rescue and research expedition in his Wake, and not one, but all attempts to find the Colonel and the mysterious city failed miserably.

I will not reveal to you what will happen in the expedition, which will be discussed in the plot of this film, you will learn by watching this film to the end.

I just want to say that the film was very interesting, intriguing and exciting, despite some of its length. Movies with such themes cannot afford to be mediocre.

In the film pleasing views of the wonderful scenery, amid which were actually filmed and the scenery and the dress of the local natives.

There are chases and shootings, and a lot of other interesting events, so have fun, I think, can anyone who wants.

In addition, the film will surely appeal to many of those who love themed adventure movies, where you can learn a lot of interesting and useful. Disappointed can only be those who expect from this film purely entertainment and will not see here a lot of special effects, who do not want to think about the serious issues that are raised in this film, for whom it may seem boring.

I personally liked this film and the plot, and filming, and acting, and the opportunity to get in touch with the story.
