Not long ago, I bought Stanmore 2 and put it in my office.

I'm almost like an in-house DJ (?), But I put music in the office that will act as a white noise so I can talk to each other better.
The company wasn't that big, so it's enough for Stanmore, but I don't have enough money. I bought it at my own expense when the fastball hot deal broke.

    A lot of people talked about it so I tried to face-to-face comparison with Stanmore 1.
    The previous design seems to make the device look a bit smaller.
    In particular, the gold bar on the bottom seems to play a role, but it's a matter of taste whether it looks good or not.
    The rest has nothing changed. The back side is very the same.

  6. Packaging
    Bluetooth 5.0 didn't make much of a difference, so I'll talk about the other part, packaging.
    Stanmore 1 was surrounded by styrofoam so the speakers never moved inside the box, and there was no space left.
    Stanmore 2 was open and a little disappointed. Should I say that Carton box?
    The material fits snugly over the bottom and top of the speaker, leaving the left and right blank.
    It's heavy, so I can't throw it well, but it's in an inner packaging that's more about shipping than Stanmore 1.
    However, considering the environmental aspects, this is not to be understood (because Styrofoam is replaced by paper).

  1. Multi interlocking
    Multi interlocking means using multiple Marshall speakers as if they were one. It doesn't have to be Stanmore. It's from Acton to Woburn?
    It's kind of useful to tie several together and play the same source,
    You can buy two and make one with two channels dedicated to the left and the other to the right.
    I thought it would only be a Wi-Fi version, but when I installed the app, it was supported.
    The only thing that was unfortunate was that it would be difficult to do so with a PC. The app is only on iOS and Android.
    There seems to be no way to tie together except for the application, but if you buy one more, I'll have to do some more research.

  2. Operate the speaker with the app
    Stanmore 1 had to go to the speaker even if I wanted to turn up the volume.
    So I set it to the right volume and adjusted the volume on the pc. But the base and treble had to go in front of the machine unconditionally .... !!
    When you install the app, Stanmore 2 can adjust it. Oh, why did I change the dial gauge to LED?
    As you turn the dial, the gauge above the dial lights up, then switches to a moderately low brightness.
    The user can decide how much of this 'moderately low brightness' should be used.
    You can also update the firmware via this app (10 minutes for once).
    It also supports equalizer! In addition to the various presets, you can also customize the 5-band equalizer to your liking!
    But this is a bit unfortunately only in the app. When connecting with a PC? It means not applicable. You have to go to the machine again to adjust the base and treble.

  3. Other
    The initial volume is very low.
    When the volume of the pc is set to 70 and the volume gauge is set to 3/10, the Stanmore 1 spreads well in the office.
    Stanmore 2 with the same sound source 3/10 volume gauge does not hear anything in the office ..... ;;; I thought it was bad at first.
    But if Stanmore 1 evenly divides the volume amplification at the beginning and the end,
    Stanmore 2 feels like having a bun in the second half. (Individually not.)

If you use Stanmore 2 everywhere, the volume gauge will not drop below 5.

Sensitivity of the power button is better and more intuitive.
Unlike Stanmore 1, when the power switch is turned up, it is turned on.
Pulling the power switch toward the front of the speaker and the combination of LEDs make it a little bit different.
In particular, you don't just pull it on unintentionally, you have to pull it until the LED changes (this should be about 2 seconds).
In our office with a lot of staff who do 'sometimes' manipulations, I feel like everybody seems to be wandering.

  1. Conclusion
    Stanmore 1 to 2 came out so I'll buy this as an upgrade.
    Bluetooth 5.0? A design that looks a bit smaller? LED?
    The internal specs are the same.

Yes, if you're not multi-pairing, buy Stanmore 1. It is sold at a very reasonable price in the used country.
1 is not brand new, but it's not carrying around anyway, so it's mostly in good condition.
