About Me:
On steemit you tend to see the more professional side of me. The one who is focused on the task at hand which more times then not is trying to help steemit newbies. While running the Pay It Forward Curation Contest we have been able to help hundreds of plankton and minnows gain added exposure and earn a little extra money on their posts. The PIF movement has started with the curation contest, but will be expanding over time with the focus of growing the accounts of quality content producers.
Many may not know I'm a Father of 2 amazing girls and Husband to a very understanding Wife who puts up with my hours of daily steemit time. For a living I buy and sell toys and collectibles and before this have had many other businesses. The way I keep my sanity is playing hockey twice a week. Now in the old man league and the really old man league, but nothing compares to getting out on the rink. If my body allows it I'll still be out there for years to come.

@thedarkhorse came out of nowhere and instantly started helping everyone who came across his blog. He has an unmatched work ethic and has bean impacting hundreds of steemian's lives with his #payitforward contest and not only. Many new steemit users rose high above ground thanks to his efforts and he has been supporting everyone unconditionally since day one.
I have nothing but positive impressions of this man and would consider him to be a role model to all that dwell here daily! We can all learn a little something from this person. steemit.com has a bright future ahead if it can attract more people like @thedarkhorse.
Also, his writing is some of the best I've seen. Top, top quality stuff. Highly recommend you follow him and his blog. It's almost like he always puts others first - a quality rarely observed in today's world.
Just learned he loves hockey, too! I wonder what his opinion is about Toronto Maple Leafs haha :D

I don't sleep...lol. Seriously I find that 3-5 hours a day of sleep is enough for me and then a 20 minute nap at some point most days. And thank you!

Here's the thing, I'm not that up on all that goes on here and I'm still learning but I really feel like @thedarkhorse has been extremely supportive. Dedicated to shining a spotlight on the new people and seeing Steemit as a community to build strength in others and in their passions, I really have found my (allbeit limited) experience with you to be so inspiring and motivational. I thank you very much for that.
That same pay it forward attitude extends far beyond the hashtag spilling over into all interactions.
