Rhetorical Questions 修辞问题

Communication is a skill, and one of the effective ways to bring across a message is by using a rhetorical question. It is the question asked without expecting an answer. Instead, it is to make a point through asking a question. And a good question often causes the audience to resonate and being persuaded in their heart. An example of trying to get someone to team up with you for a worthwhile project, you can use a rhetorical question, “I can do it but we will multiply the result by doing it together, should we not do it together?”

It is powerful because the rhetorical question is evocative. If there is a member of your group who is the best person to resolve the problem confronting your group, you may say it, “There is no one among us can resolve the problem better than you, should we not depend on you?”

Asking question is a skill, and acquiring the skill of asking rhetorical questions can surely enhance effective communication. As we need to be more effective in communicating with others, should we not seize the opportunity to learn such timely skill?

沟通是一种技巧，有效的传达信息的一个方法乃是要懂得使用修辞问题。使用修辞问题的时候，通常不必期待即时的口頭回答。其实，它是通过發问以引起聽衆的共鸣。假如要促使某人与你合作以完成一项有价值的任务作为例子，你可以使用这样的修辞问题，“我虽然可以做这事，但是我们一起做，其效果必然倍增，我们岂不应该一起做吗?”

修辞问题是有力的，因为它能令人不断的回味。如果您的一位小组成员是解决该小组所面临问题的最佳人选，您可以嘗试说：“您是我们中间解决问题的最佳人选，难道我们可以不依赖您解决所面对的问题吗?”

發出问题是一项技能，懂得使用修辞问题的技巧肯定可以加強沟通。由于我们需要更有效地和人沟通，难道不应该把握机会学习这种技能吗?”
