This new surgical robot performs an endoscope of the lung to help diagnose and treat lung cancer:

It can go much further than traditional endoscopes, because of this it is able to diagnose lung cancer at a much earlier stage which in turn is helping save people's lives.

There is only a 20% 5 year survival rate of those diagnosed with lung cancer because it often gets diagnosed only in its late stage.

If diagnosed sooner that 5 year survival rate would likely jump well over 50%.
