Week Seven Quest post: The goblind Assault

is going to the outpost to meet up whit the soldier and escort the rambuck
to the goblin fort. the Rambuck is getting pulled of an ox its covered in iron armor to protect it. the outpost is sending 5 soldier and a captain. the army is arriving in the area. its a guard tower at the gate whit one ballista. its shooting big stone arrows. in front of the gate its a dozen of goblins. and one Oger. the Oger has a war hammer and a metal plate armor. whit a big iron helmet he is slow but he hits hard. the goblins have clubs and spear. a few with some armor. the Captan is informing we are dealing whit the goblins and the gate if the colonist can take out the Oger and the balista.
To the north its up hill whit loos Rocks the South East
its a path a bit up from there you can see allover but its easy to be corned.
the rest is a open space except form a big rock to the north. the enemy's cant see u: we have the element of surprise. +2 on the sneak attack

Anyone who wants to be an archer/sniper, I think they can shoot from up on that cliff 3 to 4 squares to the right. Only people who can harm you would be foes with ranged weapons, probably not the ogre. I'm going to try to focus on going into melee against any foes who have ranged weapons.
Four square to the right, Big Jake will take position on the cliff edge and shoot at the foe controlling the ballista, using his bow. Sneak attack?

The Captain said to leave the goblins to him and his team. We are to take out the balista and the ogre. That means 3 of us for each one of them. I sneak out to the big rock @rollthedice (North 5 and then east 1) which puts me in range to throw my spear at the ogre. Action 2: attack @rolld20

Sneak failed and they saw me. My attack needs a 9 or less and also failed.
Last action: I recover my spear.
I just re-read the rules and the example says I CAN charge after throwing my spear, so in that case, instead of recovering my spear this turn, I will charge the ogre with my +3 stone hammer. 5+3+2=10 or less to hit. @rolld20

Also, Where is the list of what DAMAGE each weapon does? I see the stats are ONLY for the rolls and not the amount of damage done! I thought my spear did 4 damage, but it seems it may NOT do 4 damage since @methus has +4 on the bow but is saying only 2 damage done per hit!

no noob questions...yes u can charge it. to a charge. normal wepons do 2 damage if not specified. and all your wepons are in the colonist file.

I can't seem to get the d20 to respond. What shall I do?

Looks like the dicebot will not respond to deeply-nested comments, so I'll make my last action a charge on the ogre with my +3 stone hammer rather than recover my spear. @rolld20 5+3+2=10 or less to hit.
@rolld20 may have run out of RC so I try again. If this fails, just roll for me please, using a physical dice or another on-line dicebot like roll-dice-online.com

Edit: Not sure why my 2nd d20 roll went twice, but the first one was a miss, so that's what we should use. So I had 2 hits for 4 damage total on the ballista.

OOC: can we move angled squares?
If carrying 2 weapons, do we choose which weapon stat to add for each attack or do we add BOTH for damage done?
Is a charge an action or is it like sneak? Can we sneak and charge in one turn?
yes u can move on and angel. one wepon. its up to u which one.
if you doing a melee u can do a charge and sneak but only melee, and you can always do a charge if u are
1-3 squares from an enemy and going in to melee
outpost soldiers going whit there bows aiming for the goblins at the gate and shooting. 5 arrows the all hit there target three of the goblins falling over. the soldiers is charge the goblins. whit the capten in the front.
two of them missing ther target the rest got a good hit in killing two more goblins. the goblins attacks the killing one of the soldiers and wounding on more.
the ballista is shoots on the rambukk. it hits doing 4 damage to it.
the Oger is moving forward running at happyme. but overdoing it and ending up next to @blockurator the oger is swinging his warhammer @rolld20
