Slow trail run around Škale and Velenje lakes
This morning we were in Velenje. It was raining most of the night and the morning turned out to be foggy and very humid.
A bit before 8 AM I took Puma for a round around the right lake. After good 3 kilometers. I left her in our RV and took off for a longish and slow run. You can see from the track bellow how I fared.
Even more telling is the satellite view, as shown in the Amazfit app.
Do you see the brownish area on the top left side? I did some bush wading and marsh plowing there :) This area is the part where the lake is still fresh and the shore is in constant remodeling. Why? All these lakes came to be after the ground collapsed because of the mining shafts below.
Let's say that the procedure is controlled by the mining company.
OK, back to the run. It was hard because of the humidity. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
In total, I did 15.5 kilometers with 200 meters of ascent.

No need to be a masochist to run well... but a bit of pain could make you stronger. ;)

Merci. Yes, you are right. With consistency comes strength. There is still a lot of time for speed work in the months before spring. I'll do some track too :)
