Time for new winter running shoes?
These are my trusty old winter running shoes in the middle of today's run over frozen snow.
Inov-8 Roclite 312 GTX. Some 12 years old. I don't know how many kilometers run with them.
I certainly don't comply with the propaganda that running shoes are not to be used after 800 kilometers.
Well, what do you think? Time for new shoes?
In my opinion, they are good enough to finish this winter in them. After that, we'll see...
Maybe I'll buy a new pair as a reward for some running related feat.

you must have nice warm Winters. Winters where I'm from, running is definitely out of the cards, unless you want to freeze your ass off, that is. Lol I'm from Boston, by the way.

Yes, the winter here can not be compared to yours. It was minus eight Celsius at most this year. So these shoes are just fine, thank you 😀

I know someone who does a lot of running as well. He would have to replace his shoes every three races. Then again, cuz we're done through obstacle courses.

12 yrs old is impressive.
8 have an inov-8 running bag... it is a very well made piece of kit. I actually run with it even if I'm only taking a water bottle... its that inobtrusive!
