The body would soon get cold though warm was how she liked it.

"Restrain yourself, Father always feasts first."

- You brought us some fine flesh tonight, Miriam. You will be the privileged one to satiate your hunger right after me.

The above short piece is my entry for this week's Fifty Word Story Contest held by @gonzo and @sarah-xx and sponsored by @krazywitness and all this happening over Whaleshares.io!

The new prompt is the word "Reward".

Although there is the word limitation it is a fun writing exercise. I usually squeeze my brain to come up with something good and I mostly need to find the right words to deliver the messages accurately and with the less words possible. This time though things were different as the moment I read the prompt word, I instantly thought of a woman's mouth, her teeth more specifically, and how excited she would feel to have her prize, something that would ease her "hunger", something that would make this flash-fiction piece dark and dangerous. And since I have my own dark character, Lilith, it was not that difficult to create Miriam. Ironic, isn't it? Miriam is Jewish for Mary, the Holy Mother's name. Such an innocent name on such a dangerous creature...
