Life Is Better On The Hook: Anchoring in Witty's Lagoon Part 1

The simplicity of life at anchor - or on the hook - is pretty damn fantastic. I spent the weekend on the hook at Haystack Isles near Witty's Lagoon. It was a short sail from Victoria BC, but it felt like we were a world a way in our own Pacific Northwest Paradise.

Once breakfast was served the first order of the day was to row ashore so that Rodney could go about his morning constitutional.

Witty's Lagoon is home to some fabulous sandy beaches and incredibly clear water. We enjoyed a locally brewed beer in the sun while we contemplated how we wished to enjoy the day.
