Salt Lending: Down, but Out?
I know from first-hand experience that right now, all trading of SALT, the ERC20 token built on Ethereum that facilitates crypto-backed lending, is locked down. I just can't move my SALT, except for SALT here or there, but not for ETH, BTC or another cryptocurrency. Why is this?
The Salt Lending project has been put under legal scrutiny and has regulators watchfully in pursuit. But a court ordered subpoena is not startling the people cultivating this cryptocurrency, as it continues its strategy to spread across the globe, and even the United States, where it is most scrutinized by local laws.
I might not be able to swap it for another crypto at the moment, but I see promise in this coin. What about you? I would love to get my fellow Steemians' opinions on this crypto.
