Something About Me challenge - The sign of Taurus
One of the nicest challenges on Steemit is Something About Me or SAM challenge hosted by @bluemoon. The details are here. Every Saturday we are invited to share something about us. This is a nice idea and I promised to participate every week.
Today I will tell you about my horoscope. I suppose I'm running out of ideas so if you want to know anything specific, just ask. 🙂
I'm born on 27th of April so that would make me a Taurus. Since I was a little kid, astrology fascinated me. So, reading about my sign was one of my hobbies during teenage years.
Being an Earth sign, Taurus loves to spend time outside and has a great passion for nature. What can I say? They got me right on this one since I love long walks and gardening. And I believe I mentioned more than once about my love for flowers.
Taurus is usually reliable, practical, ambitious and sensual, having an eye for beauty. Patient, down to Earth, persistent, independent and generous are other positive aspects of the Taurus sign. If they apply to me...you'd rather ask my friends and family as I will not praise myself in this post. 🙂
Taurus has a very strong of humor. And I think I have it. 🙂
I did not smile when I took this photo as opening the mouth would have brought a blood avalanche on screen (scary effects, right?). 😱
Like all the signs, Taurus has some negative traits though. Stubborn and possessive, it is really hard to get along with the native of this sign. But he or she will not display these "qualities" for a long time as they will get bored. And Taurus is sometimes too lazy to continue a specific action or do something, especially if ordered. They need to find a strong motivation to defeat laziness.
Of course, none of the above negative aspects applies to me, right? 😂

I have studied astrology and find it fascinating. At one time I had an advanced program that could pinpoint all the planets position at your birth but lost it when my old computer crashed. U & R.
What a concidence. My mom is a Scorpio. I don't know her ascendent but she is very stubborn. Moon in Taurus for sure. 😂

Astrology is indeed a fascinating subject to study. I loved to read about different horoscopes and their influence on different cultures. The Chinese one is particularly interesting and I was always feeling blessed during the Pig years.
My birthday just passed on November 1st. I’m a playful monkey on the Chinese calendar. 🐒 💕

Nice to know you sign ;-) I'm not very skilled in astrology , I only know my family's sign and we are almost all libra which is very practical for the harmony...LoL Me and my darling are libra, 2/3 of my children are libra, their father is also libra, ...there is only my last son who is the sign of Leo =D
My husband is a libra and sometimes we struggle not to fight. I'm very impulsive and I tend to overreact. He tends to keep his frustrations to himself and hates to fight. I usually mess with his equilibrium. 😂
My son is a leo. God, they are so stubborn most of the time. But great people once you learn what buttons you have to push.
My family is a mixture of signs: taurus (me), libra (hubby), leo (son), aquarius (daughter), aries (my sister) and scorpio (my mother). Grandparents: sagittarius, aries, pices, leo. Mother-in-law, gemini.
Now please tell me: how not to know astrology? 😂
Well, I know all the signs of my close relatives, but don't know precisely the characteristics of each signs..I only know the character of each of the persons..LoL

I love your pictures / photos. Taurus is a great sign. My mother and two of my sons are taurus. I was even lucky enough to have a Taurus mother-in-law. I am a Leo /Cancer my self .

One of my best friends is a Cancer. This is the most compatible sign to the impulsive Taurus. 🙂

I was born early morning on the 23rd of July
Leo comes out some and Cancer too. With a water sign and fire sign I am boiling simmering or steaming to much of the time. Lol

I like velvet rose! It fits very well with the vampire mistress. I could say that all girls, women are a little vampire but I do not want to be misogyn ... because I'm not.
What I know about taurus is that it is strong, unstable and lazy, like any strong being.
What I think about you is that you are strong, creative, talented and have many desires. I hope to accomplish!

I will start sharing some memories and funny stories from my childhood and teenage years. The highschool years were especially funny.
I like this challenge because it brings back memories and it makes you think about you as a human being with both qualities and flaws.
