Huawei puts the beta on Oreo for Mate 8 and P9

As we have said before, some of the best news that a smartphone owner can get is that the release of the new version of Android begins. By the end of March, we announced that several Huawei and Honor brands will be upgraded to Oreo in May.

We now learn from laptop check that somewhat expectation is justified. A beta version of the new software will be available for the Chinese versions of Huawei Mate 8, Huawei P9, Honor 8, Honor 6X and Honor Note 8. We expect the official upgrade to be released for all versions of the models.

So far there is no information on how long the beta phase will last and when we can expect Oreo for the models in question.
