It's been a few days since I last wrote anything here other than for Tasteem and Instagram.

LAST WEEK

I was busy working with my wife at the shop. Had a busy last week.
Still feeling a bit tired and gonna take a bit of rest.
This week is my week off.Gonna be heading to Brunei two days from today to just relax a bit.

Around two weeks ago, it was pretty scary to see Tasteem hacked.

Tasteem accounts recovered

Currently, I earn a lot of my Steem from Tasteem and I love food. So it's a mutual friendship between me and Tasteem.
I particularly like this dapp due to it's more authentic reviews of food.

I can basically see the different food that everyone eats in different countries. I get to know new friends and once in a while, I can bookmark some of the places for later reference in case one day, I visit that place.

When Tasteem got hacked, I had this fear that this one great dapp may have been lost. Steemit has good recovery system. I had my account phished months ago and sometimes, it still sends shivers to my spine. I am really careful nowadays to never use the master key.

dustsweepers account nomination

Last week, I got a mention notification from @wholeself-in for letting me know that I got nominated. I was really busy last week and hadn't a chance to really study the content much but I am pretty much aware of my pal nominating me last month. He is definitely a great guy. In life, we only get to meet a few great friends who click well.

I haven't fully read everything about how Dustsweeper works but when I have time, I will have a look at it.
In another two months, I am going to be an active Steemian for 1 year. Time flies.

Anyways, I am pretty excited to watch Toy Story 4 soon. This is from my view, the first Pixar animated movie I have watched. Before Toy Story, every animated film was in a 2d format. I still remembered having so many sets of Woody, Buzz light year and the other characters from Mc Donald's Happy Meal set. Sadly, my house burnt down around a 12 years ago wiping out every single tangible memory that was in my cupboard.

Just a short update of what's happening in my life.
In case, you want to know what has happened to this guy.

Last night, I had dinner with my buddy, whom I have known since Primary school at a special place. Gonna be writing about it soon. It's a type of style which only exist in Borneo. The owner of that restaurant is British and I think her husband if Kelabit, part of an indigenous tribe of Sarawak.

Around a century ago, Borneo was different.

America at that time was industrialized and this was Borneo. Can't believe how far this has gone. The video above showcase scientist venturing into the jungles deep inside Sarawak to study the 'Orang Asli'.

Another twenty years from now, I don't think Sarawak is recognizable. It's developing at such a rapid pace that I am in really surprised. Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia is building at super speed that whenever I visit Kuala Lumpur, it looks totally different.
