The quarterfinal round has concluded and here are the fixtures for the semifinals:
Belgium VS France
England VS Croatia
It is going to be all European semis, and the European team is recently dominating the world football. The last non-European side to win World Cup was Brazil in 2002. In the quarterfinals, both Brazil and Uruguay suffered loss from the European heavyweights. Belgium had been excellent in this world cup, and they have won each and every game until now and will face France next. England is into semis after 28 years of wait and will face another good team in the form of Croatia. Croatia lead by Modric has been excellent throughout the tournament, and his performance will determine if Croatia will make it to final.
