THE FAITH THAT GOD DEMANDS US.

Mark 11:12.

The next day, when he left Bethany, he was hungry. 13 And when he saw a fig tree from afar in the distance, he went to see if he could find something there; but as he approached, he found only leaves, because it was not the time for the figs. 14 Then Jesus, turning to the fig tree, said: No one will eat more fruit than you in eternity. And his disciples heard it. 20 The next morning, passing near the fig tree, they saw it drying from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering himself, said to him: Majesty, behold, the fig tree that you cursed is upset. 22 Then Jesus answered and said to them, Have the faith of God! 23 For truly I say to you, if anyone says to this mountain, Move and turn to the sea, and he will not doubt in his heart, but he will believe that whatever he says, whatever he says will happen.

Jesus is the second Adam and has shown us that the man that God created before the fall had spiritual authority over all the natural and supernatural elements. The living Word, made flesh in Jesus, when he speaks, makes what he says reality and nobody can stop it. The tree was cursed because it did not bear fruit according to the purpose for which God had created it, so we were also created with a purpose and if we left it, our existence no longer makes sense. Only by remaining in God's purpose for our life can we be happy.

The fig tree represents religion, that is, the appearance without substance that deceives people, does not show the reality of God. Jesus came to bring the substance of heaven to earth and not to make us live by illusions. We must have the faith of God. He lives within us and has made us in his image, just as our genes contain the characteristics of our physical appearance and regulate the processes of our body, in our spirit are the genes of God's faith, His authority and His power.

When the Word comes, it activates these genes, which are already within us but have become extinct, so that they can begin to work for God's purpose. Faith comes from listening, but obedience is what brings the result, Jesus has fulfilled the whole plan of the Father because he was obedient to death and death on the cross.

Faith by revelation has three elements:

Knowledge.

We can not believe what we do not know, so it is important to study the Word. Only by knowing what God says can we be in agreement with his promises.

Be fully convinced.

Abraham, the father of faith, was not immediately convinced of the promises of God, so he fathered Ishmael with his servant Hagar. In the same way, we are not fully convinced either, and often we hear other voices instead of the Lord's. To become fully convinced is, therefore, a process in which we must enter, knowing that God is the Eternal and does not change.

Romans 4:21

Totally convinced that what he had promised was also powerful to do.

Tune your mouth with your heart.

With the heart one believes and with the mouth one must confess what one believes.

Romans 10: 9

Because if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 with the heart one believes to obtain justice and with the mouth one confesses to obtain the salvation.

The mouth and the heart must be tuned.

If the mouth says something different than what it has in the heart, it is lying. When our mouth speaks according to our heart, we get what we declare.

Deuteronomy 30:14

But the word is very close to you; It is in your mouth and in your heart, for you to put it into practice.

We know that a person is credible if he never tells lies. God can not lie, that's why he is totally credible. He is the truth and our faith lives from the evidence of a God who does not tell lies. The Lord is our Shepherd and He gives us everything. He has created us to be participants in His nature and if we confess His Word by believing it, we will see it fulfilled in our lives.

Therefore we must live the faith that God demands of us, believing fully in his promises, confessing them and declaring them in our lives. The faith that acts under the spiritual senses, as I mentioned in the previous publication.
